We will reopen on Tuesday, June 1st.
Our sincere gratitude to those brave men and women who have served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Thank you for your continued business.
In the interests of keeping our valued customers aware of current market conditions, we have to advise of an update received from Glen Raven a short while ago. In the interest of trying to focus on their core business and most in-demand colors etc., we have been made aware that they will be discontinuing some styles for the foreseeable future. At this point we are unaware how long that this will be the case – but likely to be at least until the end of the year.
The styles that are to be discontinued are listed below and can be viewed by clicking on the attachments :
In addition, all of our current orders for the following products have been cancelled:
- FS14609 46” Cloud
- FS6064 60” Cloud
- FS80026 80” Navy
- FS4879 46” Rodanthe Metallic
Please keep in mind these changes and restrictions with regards to current orders and current stock.
Your Bainbridge International Sales Representative will be able to assist you, should you have any questions or concerns.
Last Friday saw the retirement of two of the most senior members of the Bainbridge team. At a reception held at the corporate office in Canton, MA we said thank you and goodbye to both Alan Meyers and Anne Cleaves, who between them have over seventy-six years of experience and memories at the company.
For thirty-six years, Anne held responsibility for the Accounts Payable Department ensuring that our valued vendors were paid on time and was a great ambassador for the organization.
In 1981, Alan returned from working in Italy and joined the start-up Aquabatten company, bringing new batten technology to the sailing world and later was at the helm as it merged with the Bainbridge sailcloth company and became Bainbridge Aquabatten Inc., and later on as Bainbridge International Inc.
Although they will both be deeply missed, we wish them the very best in this new chapter of their lives.
